Ezra Furman and The Harpoons
Inside the Human Body

After recording Beat Beat Beat in varying Tuft's dormitories, Ezra Furman & the Harpoons decided to get serious. Signing with Minty Fresh in 2007, Furman & Co. began working with producer Brian Deck on a sophomore album -- the result: the ever-witty, cynical, stripped down and lyrically driven, Banging Down the Doors. Following the release, Furman began to draw the attention of Paste Magazine's Andy Whitman, All Music's Jason Lymangrover and NPR's All Songs Considered among others.

October 7, 2008, according to Furman's blog, marks the release date for the band's third album Inside the Human Body. New tracks from the album will be posted on myspace every week.

Stark is going to speak with Furman in the coming days about his upcoming release and where he and his band intend to go from there.
